Pretty Prague

As usual we arrived in the afternoon in Prague and had some downtime before an included dinner.  After dinner, I ventured out and ended up doing a bunch of shopping and got some nice nighttime pictures in the Old Town Square.  I bought myself some moldavite earrings and matching ring.
The next day we had some included sightseeing and then some free time for lunch.   I decided I wanted to find a different way to meet people other than just bellying up to the bar at the local pub.  So, my big idea was to go on an organized beer tour with dinner included.  I know, I know – I didn’t really stray from my original MO but it sounded like fun.  Two other couples on my tour decided to join in.  There ended up being 2 other couples from Sweden and two guys from France.  We had a great time – the beer was actually good and really cold and dinner was great.  Afterwards, the younger Swedish couple, Lena and Seppo, and the French guys, Jean and Maxime, and I decided to make a night of it.  We had a lot of fun trying to translate the conversation into Frenglish and there were a lot of hand gestures and drawing going on.  All in all it was a great night.
My Eastern European tour came to an end with leaving for Berlin the next day.  It has been a fun trip and I again met some very nice people.  I would really like to spend more time in Poland and Germany for sure.
