Ireland in Review

Well, my stint in Ireland is now complete and I am off to London for a few days.  Overall, Ireland was lovely – not my favorite place but definitely lovely.  I think the weather and my bronchitis put a bit of a damper on the trip so I am trying to see past that.  I really enjoyed about half the excursions we went on like Ballyknocken House, Rathbun Farm, Kylemore Abbey, Blarney Castle, and the pub night.  I wish we would have had more time in Derry and Belfast.  They are fascinating cities due to the “Troubles” and you couldn’t get a real feel for the communities in the time we spent there.  I spent my last night with 3 couples in the Temple Bar area of Dublin which was a lot of fun!  Most everyone on the trip were fun and friendly people.  The hotels were extremely nice and the food was good but did get old after awhile.  I can’t get enough pub food though!  Ireland was great but I am ready to have a few days to myself in London.
A special shout out to Kelly K. for leaving me the most comments.  There may be a special gift in store for you! =)
